  • Meers Debuts New Site for Swoon

With the debut of justswoon.com, Meers finalizes the integrated rebranding launch for Swoon, formerly known as P.S. Sweets. In addition to the website, the integrated branding effort for the Kansas City-based custom cookie crafter includes a new name, logo, color palette, packaging and collateral.

“P.S. Sweets was ready for a complete rebrand to spur new business nationwide and position the company for the future,” said David Thornhill, Meers Creative Director. “Our team has been thrilled not only with how successful the rebranding has been for Swoon, but also for the numerous accolades the work has received from packaging, design and branding bloggers, online editors and peer influencers. Now everything about Swoon’s brand conveys something special. Their cookies are that much more desirable because of it.”

Swoon needed their company image to reflect and amplify their premium product and excellent service, especially because they were chosen as Kansas City’s best catering company by Kansas City’s popular weekly, The Pitch (even though they only make cookies, that’s how good they taste!). The Meers design team focused on Swoon’s main areas of consumer contact that could convey the owners’ dedication to craftsmanship: business cards and the actual cookie packaging. Both feature letterpress printing, die-cuts and other sophisticated touches.

“When we first came to Meers a little less than a year ago, we only knew we wanted to take P.S. Sweets to the next level,” said Sofia Hudson, Swoon co-founder and co-owner. “Now that we’ve finished the last step of the rebranding effort, we know we made the right choice, the look and feel our new brand is absolutely beautiful, and it has made an incredible difference for our business.”
