  • ExactTarget’s Connections 2012: Day 1

Posted by John Kreicbergs on Tuesday | October 16th, 2012

It’s amazing to think that a year has already passed since my first ExactTarget Connections conference. A lot has happened with Meers in that time — phenomenal growth, the addition of some stellar clients as well as the continued success of some long-standing partners, numerous additions to our internal team, and so much more — and apparently a lot has been happening with our orange friends in Indy these past 12 months as well.

(Fun fact: Meers has been an ExactTarget solutions provider since 2004.)

This year, Connections will play host to over 4,000 digital marketers, making it the largest digital conference in the world. Today’s kickoff was everything it was hyped to be: a rousing celebration of ExactTarget’s incredible rocket-like trajectory, a generous “thank you” to the partners that are helping make it happen, an amazing showcase of rapidly evolving technology and an inspirational start to what is sure to be an incredible three days.

I’m here with a crew of my fellow Meersians as well as one of our fantastic Blue KC clients, all taking advantage of this annual learning and practice sharing extravaganza. While our gears are certainly turning and burning from this first day, below is our curated “best of” from the Twitterverse that is hanging and hashing it out on the #ET12 hashtag.

By the way, if you’re reading this and happen to be at Connections 2012, don’t forget to keep your phones, tablets and computers juiced via one of our Meers charging stations. While you’re there, be sure to text “meers” to 74574 to learn how to get in on our iPhone 5 giveaway.
