The annual festival was looking for ways to reach out to a new audience of art enthusiasts. Through the title sponsor, AMC Theatres, we were able to secure cinema advertising to run prior to feature films. Meers, in tandem with T2, created two commercials that took a deeper dive into what it means to be truly independent in filmmaking. The commercials start at what would be the end of a film and utilize film credits as a vehicle to tell the story of being completely independent.
